Lightweight Steel Warehouses and Buildings

ARP specialise in the engineering and design of light gauge steel buildings. Our designs optimise the quantity of steel used in a structure to provide our clients with considerable efficiencies and cost savings compared with a typical hot rolled steel building. Engineering to the requirements of AS 4600 we ensure that the structures are capable of withstanding the same rigorous loading assessments as per any building structure.
Overview+

A building’s steel frame is intrinsic to stability and strength for any typical shed type structure.  In addition the the requirements of Australian Standards remain the same as any building and they must be able to withstand dead loads (weight of the structure), live loads (temporary or variable loads) and wind loading as a minimum. Using structural analysis software such as Space Gass, we are able to verify design integrity and optimise performance for lightweight structures ensuring our clients are constructing buildings that are both economical and fit for purpose.

Design Delivery+

Typically, engineering is completed prior to drafting of fabrication deliverables, giving our clients opportunity to modify and change the design prior to finalisation. ARP adopt a flexible and collaborative approach to design and are able to add considerable value through experience to provide our clients with innovative solutions to their design requirements.

Building for the Future+

ARP’s involvement in projects such as these ensure our engineered building structures comply with Australian Standards and are optimised for strength, durability, and cost-efficiency.
The many designs that ARP have completed showcase our commitment to providing safe, reliable, and efficient structural solutions for every project.
