Screen House Removable Platform
A recently constructed Screen House near Karratha required improvements to be designed to enable the removal of the screens for maintenance purposes. ARP were engaged to design a removable platform that facilitates the removal of the screen.
This project involved the reconfiguration of the structure to enable a removable platform to be installed and the installation of additional bracing, columns and beams so that the structural integrity of the screen house was not affected by the removal of the platform. The work was completed on a short timescale to allow rapid fabrication of components. The screen removal that was facilitated by the new removable platform was successful and proceeded without incident.
