Conveyor Replacement Project
A Conveyor located near Dampier in WA was recently replaced as part of a structural integrity improvement project. Three incline sections of a shuttle conveyor were replaced with some improvements made to the design. ARP were engaged to verify the new design to current Australian Standards including a review of the structure, the walkways and the lifting lugs required to lift the conveyor into place during construction.
ARP were also engaged to write the conveyor alignment procedure for the commissioning of the conveyor. This was completed prior to the successful commissioning of the conveyor back to operational status.
