ARP are regularly engaged by our clients to review existing plant guarding compliance to their own standards and AS4024. ARP have in house expertise in identifying potential pinch points and sources of energy which require protection. In the context of practical solutions for guarding requirements in operating plants we ensure our clients are presented with economical and well thought out design.
Case Study – Sample Conveyor Guarding
Operational personnel of one of our clients identified that the guarding on one of their conveyors did not provide adequate protection to conveyor hazards. ARP were engaged to review, comment and provide design services to bring the guarding for the existing conveyor up to the requirements of current national standards. ARP reviewed the existing guarding and completed the design and drafting of the new guarding scheme.
